In My Home...
In my home, I have played art concentration with my little guy. He really enjoys it and it also helps work on memory skills with your children. I made the art concentration game by using half sized index cards and using art stickers on the back of them. I made sure I had two of each design. We also have the Van Gogh and Friends art go fish game. That is fun for children to play. We have a really nice puzzle of Van Gogh's Starry Night that is challenging to put together. I have coloring books of the masters and I just bought the book Art Fraud Detective. I think my little guy is going to really love that book! Art studies doesn't have to be boring, they can be quite fun! They also don't need to be a long drawn out, textbook based subject. Have fun with it!

This is really cool i have always loved starry night and even tried to paint it but i am hopeless at painting. :-(

I suggest adding a section on intergrating art into other curriculm areas. It runs into all the humanties why do one topic when a lesson can cover various topics intergrated which often helps learners.
